Chapter Review

While the design document is very important, it doesn’t take the place of meetings that a development team should go through. Getting the thoughts of team members at regular intervals is also very important. Again, these meetings don’t have to be formal and can be in person or over some electronic medium such as a discussion board. Like most things, it’s not really important how they occur, it’s only important that they actually do. In the next chapter, we are going to look at this further, discussing the actual elements that should be included in the design document.
